The Clam Arctic Warrior is a great system to run remote set lines, or dead sticks, especially for spreading rods out and covering a variety of different depths.

Simply take your rod and just drop your lure right down to the bottom and bring it up about a foot – to a foot and a half. You can leave the bail closed or open. Mitchell typically runs them closed when he isn’t far away from the lines.

When a fish hits the bait on an Arctic Warrior, the rod tips down and the flag pops up. This is a simple and efficient way to run set lines.
