If you’re craving a crispy breaded fish but want a healthier alternative to deep frying, this recipe is the perfect alternative. It’s quick and simple requiring only a few ingredients. Perch fillets are the ideal size but it also is great for any white flesh fish, such as crappies, bluegill, and even walleye. With a coating of crispy parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs, this dish is sure to delight!

Parmesan Perch

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut perch fillets into manageable pieces approximately 3-4 inches long. 

  2. Mix all dry ingredients together in a medium size bowl. 

  3. Dip fillets into the melted butter ensuring that both sides are covered with the liquid, and then dip into the bowl of dried ingredients and flip to coat both sides. Lay coated fish out on parchment paper on a baking sheet.

  4. Bake at 350F for approximately 25 minutes or until fish starts to flake.
