A Simple Modification to Make Your Vexilar Easier to Handle

Mike Rodgers shares a simple modification to his Genz Blue Pack Vexilar to make hole-hopping easier on the ice. Rodgers has a bad back, so he had a tough time bending down to pick up his Vexilar every time he wanted to move holes. To eliminate the need to bend down to the unit, he mounted an old Clam Scoop Shovel handle to his blue pack and added on a couple rod holders. The collapsible feature of the shovel handle also makes it simple to remove for storage or transport in your sled. This is a very simple modification that can greatly improve your ice fishing experience!
