Here in the northeast corner of South Dakota we have been guiding in the Glacial Lakes region. Mostly catching walleyes and a few perch. We are targeting them deep and where rocks and weeds meet. Pitching a jig and a minnow has been best working it slowly back. August is normally one of the slower months of the year in this area. Because of this, crawler harnesses and trolling aren’t a bad idea because you can cover a lot of water quickly.
