Water Temp Low 70’s
A good summer weed crop has made for excellent habitat and fishing for bluegills. Focus on outside weed edges and docks in bays near deep water. Using forward-facing sonar has been beneficial, as the larger bluegills tend to run together. Smaller schools off on their own typically are the larger bluegill. To catch them, the tried-and-true bobber and worm has been undeniable. To avoid crowds, weekday mornings have been ideal.
