This past week, the main focus was for walleyes. The bite remains stable. Nothing really has changed from last week. Fish are still holding on to the Sholes. Some fish are starting to show up on weed beds.
I’ve been trolling flicker minnows and for casting spoons, shiver minnows, and slip bobbers with night crawlers. The deep fish have been holding in 16-24 feet on the Sholes, and on the weeds, they have been in 8-5 feet. Water temps are 71-76 degrees and are starting to climb with this hot weather.
