Some bigger fish numbers are starting to hit the ice as of yesterday. The fishing has been in general a little slower but typical for that early ice bite. We predict the days ahead are going to be some to remember. Best bite still seems to be at that 8ft to 9ft of water across the lake. The usual spoons and jiggin rap style lures in red or gold seem to be getting the most bites, only getting outdone by deadsticks and set lines. The best time didn’t seem to matter yesterday some said morning, some said afternoon, some said just before dark.
