Captain Kyle Tokarski from Green Bay WI
This week’s fishing report is from the Sturgeon Bay area. This past week, we still are on the trophy walleye bite and the bite remains hot and heavy. I’ve been fishing the rock into sand transitions along shorelines adjacent to spawning areas. Targeted depth been 25 to 35 feet of water. The baits that have been working the best have been blade baits and hair jigs.
If you are new to this area, the best advice I can give you is to watch the weather. This is big water up here, and it can get awfully rough on Sturgeon Bay, but the reward is big.
