Captain Kyle Tokarski from Green Bay Wi. This week’s fishing report.
I’ve been bass fishing the Sturgeon Bay area this past week. Hot baits that have been performing best are light hair jigs, swim baits, and tubes . Especially on those flat calm days. The fish have been holding shallow the last few days as they are getting ready for the spawn. Depths targeted were 1.5 to 5 feet of water. Water temp has been ranging from 48 to 57 degrees. Find the warm water and you will find the fish.
If you are new to this area, it can be frustrating. Staying away from the other boats and long casts away from the boat should produce good numbers. Good luck if you are out and about on the water.
