WALLEYE:
The walleye bite has gotten tough. We’re now in our annual late Summer lull, and there’s not much you can do until the water cools and they begin to enter their fall patterns. 1-ounce glide baits like the Northland Pitchin’ Puppet Minnow are best for getting reaction bites from finicky fish. Chrome or silver colors seem to help.
CRAPPIE:
Crappie have also gotten tough but are continuing to push to fall basins and are now sitting in 24-26 feet off mud bottom points.
