The walleye and sauger bite has been strong over the past week on Pool 4 of the Mississippi River. We have been finding most of the fish in 10-16 feet of water on current seams. One of the most important things right now is to find current seams, breaks and points and fishing them SLOW.
The presentations that have been getting bites are dragging plastics along the bottom and Dubuque rigs. Another option that has been strong is hair jigs. But as mentioned above, you have to fish slow.
