Fishing report for the Iowa Great Lakes Area, water temps are falling quickly now and this has the fish moving into their wintering areas. The walleye bite at night for the shore casters has been picking up and bigger fish have been caught. Guys are throwing paddle tail plastics and also stick baits.
Panfishing has been hit and miss and you to do a lot of moving to stay on fish right now. Mini jigs tipped with wax worms or wigglers is best. Smallmouth bite has picked up on the rocky points with jerk baits and even some top water lures producing well. Good numbers of perch on Big Spirit but a lot of small fish with a few keepers. As always use your electronics to find schools of fish this time of year.
