Okoboji fishing continues to be good with late summer patterns for bass and panfish. We’ve been targeting both smallmouth and largemouth bass with jigworms, dropshots and swimbaits with good success. Target depths have been 14-22’ along weed lines and on deeper rock. Bluegill fishing continues to be good with the best depths running 27-40’. Anglers should look for suspended fish in those depths and utilize baits that get down fast like a spoon. Berkley Gulp minnows are a solid bet to put lots of fish in the boat when tipped on a spoon.
