For walleye, look for dirtier water bays and the first green weeds of the season while fishing shallow in under 10 feet. Casting crank baits and weaving them through the weeds has been good.
Water temps are in the mid 60’s and the fish are cruising and active. Areas with creek influences can also hold walleye. Lots of bass and panfish are pushing up shallow in spawn/pre-spawn mode making for lots of action as well.
