The north end of Winnie has been hot in areas like the dugouts for numbers of walleye. Fish are being caught on jigs and minnows in 11-14ft and a 1/8oz Northland tungsten jig in blue glory has been the ticket.
Heavy winds made fishing difficult earlier this week but the weather looks favorable going into Memorial weekend. If the conditions are calm, head out towards 18ft.
Fish have not yet moved out to the humps.
