Water temps are 66-68 degrees right now so relatively still warm. LOA guide Logan Waidelich has been busy catching walleyes as well as bass and some pike and musky.
Walleyes – Jig and Minnow and Leadcore have been best. Fishing sand and gravel with a jig and minnow in 20 feet or less has been best. Otherwise trolling leadcore in the basins of 24-35 feet with small crankbaits.
Pike/Musky – Inline spinners and bucktails but big rubber baits are going to start to shine as soon as water temps get down in the 50s. Good action and seeing fish in deeper cabbage beds. Looks to shallow rock piles that are adjacent to deep water here very soon when the water cools and the tullibees are up to shallow.
Smallmouth – Ned Rigs and Tubes. Casting docks has been very good
