Water temps are 68-72 degrees right now so relatively still warm. LOA guide Logan Waidelich has been busy catching walleyes as well as bass and some pike and musky.
For walleyes, a jig and minnow and leadcore have been best. Fishing sand and gravel with a jig and minnow in 20 feet or less has been best, otherwise trolling leadcore in the basins of 24-35 feet with small crankbaits.
Pike/Musky – Inline spinners and bucktails. Good action and seeing fish in deeper cabbage beds.
Smallmouth – Casting docks has been very good with Ned Rigs and Tubes.
