Water Temp 66
We are catching our fish with a plain Aberdeen, sometimes adding a single bead with color of choice or just a plain red slow-death going with the current; that 1.1 mph seems to be key on the sand bar edges.
We are finally starting to see some larger fish in the 18-20-inch range show up, and they are starting to fill out and look nice and healthy.
The bite seems to be the same; you’ll key in on a location, get a few fish, and then may have to move around to a different active pod before returning. 4-8ft is the best bite for keepers. Seems like if you get out to the 9ish and above range you’ll start running into a few 9-12inch fish and then the too short to keep 14s are thick as well. Still, a much-welcomed site to see smaller fish around as well for the future.
