The east-end fish seem to be on a spawning funk. Water temps are ranging from 43 to 47 in a lot of the east-end bays. Moving around, finding warmer water, and trusting your electronics is key. Best luck has been pitching jigs and minnows, plastics, or hair in 2 to 5 feet of water. In the spring on Sakakawea, all the fish seem to mix together, so don’t just move off spots if the first few casts are white bass or smallmouth bass. Walleyes are in there, too.
