Lake Sakakawea, ND (June 11, 2023)

The fishing this past week has been very good for us. The east end has cranked up a bit. The last 2 days have been exceptional. Pitching jigs with plastics or crawlers 6 feet and less has been the go to presentation for us. Worm rigging will take fish as well. Still fishing the bays and finding the warmest water will help produce more fish, water temps where we found the most fish were 65 to 68 degrees.

The midsection of the lake is fishing extremely well also. Worm rigging on main lake structure anywhere from 8 to 15 feet has been working well, again warmer water will produce more fish. Temps will range from the mid 60s to the low 79s.
