Water Temp 73
Night fishing has been good around the recent full moon flat line trolling Flicker Minnows and Flicker Shads over 60-70 feet of water, with the fish being down about 15 feet. Lately, the fish seem to be hanging in deeper water around schools of smelt. Those same fish slide up on the edge of deep river channels in the morning, which is your best bet for catching them. Casting #9 jigging raps, or dragging chubs have been the ticket. Run your chubs with a 1/4 to 1/2 ounce weight and 6-8ft leader and 1/0 wide gap hook. The fish are feeding in windows, so morning and late afternoon have been a must with little flurries of action
