The bite has been very good on Lake Mille Lacs over the past week for us. We have averaged 50-60 fish during our 4 hour guided trips with most of them in the 12-27 inch size range. We are finding most of the fish in the 13-22 feet of water range focusing on rock to sand transitions. A jig head and shiner have been catching fish as well as a leech with a slip bobber. The best advice for the current bite is to work your rig as slow as you can. Faster retrieves do not seem to get many bites right now.
