Fishing out of Sheboygan Wisconsin on Lake Michigan is continuing to improve. Chinook Salmon are starting to show up closer to shore for easier access if you own smaller vessels. Speeds of 2.3-2.6 mph have been productive with majority of fish coming below 50 ft. Downrivers have been good 57, 67, 77 long leads with regular size spoons bolding orange, green, red and gold. Flashers have been good on wire divers 101-161 chrome blanks with Superfrog flies. Meat has been starting to pick up as temps continue to rise. Replace the fly with spin fish stuffed with tuna in oil, garlic and salt or cut up Herring. 200 and 300 coppers have been really heating up with flasher fly/spinfish set ups as well.
If looking for rainbows, cohos, and Lake Trout, you can find them South of town 250-400 with speeds 2.5-3.0 fishing top 45 ft with Leadcore…but make sure you have your coppers and wires lil deeper for those Cohos that are running big this year.
