Over the past week the Lake Metigoshe panfish bite has been good in 20 ft of water on break lines and near weed edges. We had the best of luck with pk tungsten and wax worms. If going for larger panfish at times using minnow heads instead of waxworms brought in nicer fish. Downsizing to tungsten jigs helps if the bite is tough. We’ve had 16 inches of snow hit and more is coming so mobility is getting really tough. Tracks and snowmobiles are recommended as anything with wheels will have a hard to getting around.
