Kabetogama Lake
It’s been another good week on Kabetogama. Mayflies have been hatching and the walleye seem to be on a feeding frenzy. Shallow weed lines in 8-14’ continue to produce fish, however, the midlake reefs have been starting to heat up. The best depths have been 15-25 feet fished with live bait rigs and a leech. After using your sonar to locate fish, it doesn’t take but a few minutes to find out if the school is active or not. Don’t be afraid to move around to find an active school and once you do, the fishing has been really good and lots of big fish are being caught as well.
