This week’s fishing report. This past week I mainly fished all walleye trips. The walleye bite can’t get much better than this past week.
You can cast or troll, whatever your favorite tactic is it will work. I’ve been doing a mixture of both. I’m finding most fish on the main lake structure shole’s, main lake points and mud flats. Water depths have been all over the board. On the Sholes they are ranging from 14 to 21 feet of water and the points been holding fish 6 to 12 feet.
Trolling baits have been flicker minnows and casting spoons and rigging raps have been working best. Water temps have been holding around 70 to 72 degrees. My best tip is to use your electronics see where the fish are sitting. If they are off the bottom troll. If they are right on the bottom start jigging.
