Ice report-
The lower Green Bay from Dyksville to the south is kicked up with 8-12 inches of ice. Ice breakers are still running from sturgeon bay to Green Bay daily so you still have to watch the winds and use extreme caution. Sturgeon Bay has 8-12 inches in the inner bay areas but there was a large shift in the ice on the outer bays with a lot of open water areas.
North of sturgeon bay is mostly open water yet. With the cold temps this next week the entire bay should be licked across by next week Thursday.

Fishing report-
Perch action has been great the past week on the lower bay (dead horse bay), little sturgeon and sawyer harbor in 5-12 ft of water. Tip downs with minnows have been the best technique
Walleye fishing has been very good on the fox river and lower bay areas. Jigging raps tipped with a minnow head has been the bait of choice.
Whitefish action has started out very good with limit catches. Jigs/plastics have been the bait of choice. The east shore of Green Bay from the lower bay to sturgeon bay has been the best areas.
