Last week The Crooked Creek Walleye Classic on Ft. Peck was won with 96.3 pounds of walleye. Indicating a lot of big fish being caught in the system right now.
Jigs and plastics have been the ticket and fish have been seen in a wide range of depths from 10-35 feet. To find warmer water temps in the mid 50’s and protection from the relentless wind, head down the dry arm.
Lake trout are being caught between 60-80ft while vertical jigging 5-7in paddle tail swimbaits on 1oz jigs. Find trout in these depths around main lake points and ledges.
