Over the past few days the perch have been biting well in deeper water! Working mud in 30-50 feet of water. The key is to cover water and find the school. They are constantly roaming the basins and break lines. Pencil weights with tungstens or ratfinkies loaded with spikes have been the best. When the school fires up, smaller spoons/buckshots are good too! When the bite is lite, downsize to small tungsten spoons with plastics or spikes/waxies.
