Classic mid summer patterns kicking in right now. Finding a lot of fish in 20-24 feet of water on rock or gravel. Focus on the prominent structure or old shoreline. Been running bottom bouncers and spinners, lead core and crankbaits or jigs and jigging raps depending on the size of the spot. Also finding some fish on the outside edge of the weed line where we are running bottom bouncers and spinners. Deep flooded timber in 12 to 18 feet is also holding some fish and we have been using slip bobbers and leeches in the timber.
Good colors have been white, chartreuse, gold and orange along with blue and chrome. Good lures include Rumble Bugs, Hornets and Flicker Shads.
