Walleyes are the most common fish to catch right now. We are also getting a few pike and bass. Jumbo perch are starting to bite some too. The walleyes are fat!!
2 ounce bottom bouncers with a Colorado spinner, Money Maker, or Smile blade have all been very good. Gold, silver, white, purple, chartreuse, and pink have all been great! Tip your spinner with a leech or a third of a crawler.
Depths can really vary depending on what part of the lake you are on. Weed lines in 8-14 feet have been good. The old shoreline 18-24 feet has also produced well. Also, look for fish to be in the mud often this time of year (just off of the structure) as there are many hatches occurring out there.
