Fishing continues to be good around the central Mn area and with this snow will bring tough travel conditions on the lake so if you do venture out make sure to have a shovel just incase. With the snow and slush things are going to be messy. Crappies and Sunfish have started to move deeper into the basins from 22 to 30 FOW running the tighter breaks moving into the basin. The Pinhead pro has been a great option for getting down on the school fast before they move on. One thing that has been noticed is the schools are moving fast so being able to get down on them fast and tag team the school with a buddy has helped keep baits in there face and slow them down. If you are driving four wheelers, side by sides without tracks or trucks on some of the area lakes you will have a very tough time getting around and with the amount of snow that has dropped make sure to drill away from your machines as the areas will flood with the amount of weight on the ice.
Be safe and have fun this weekend!
