With the recent snowfall the lakes have really took a turn on the travel side. While some are manageable others are not. If you are looking to get off the beaten path a snowmobile is your best bet at the moment.
Fishing has been great, but being mobile has been the key to staying on the fish as they do not seem to have a stop sign in front of them. Being able to get down to them fast has been the key to get a couple bites before they move on. crappies and bluegill are still roaming throughout the basins and that pattern will stay the same for most of the season. The Pinhead pro has been a phenomenal bait to get down quick and get the more aggressive fish out of the schools. Depths from 20 to 30ft of water have been holding most.
