From Mike Raetz Outdoors
Fishing has been good the past week with the cooler weather though the morning and evenings seem to still be the best for most bites. The largemouth continue to be off the weed edges focused around coontail and milfoil and if you can find rock within that it is a sure spot to catch them. Depths have varied on most lakes but the general has been from 4 ft to 15 fow depending on the clarity of the lake. Texas rigged Rage bugs and the good and faithful wacky rig have been a player when it gets tough. Try to stick to an area and fish it instead of moving fast. The fish are grouped up so remember your cast when you get a bite because there is sure to be more fish in that same clump of grass.
