Water temps are in upper 50’s low 60’s. Crappie fishing has been good along north shore sand shorelines in 3-6ft. If you find big schools of small bluegill, the crappie are not far behind. Using a bigger bait like a 2in jig and plastic will weed out the bluegill from the crappie.
Walleye bite was fair with lack of shiners around with some fish being caught in 18-22ft off the 2nd break. Weed growth is behind so focus on hard bottom areas.
